Itinerary highlights
- Kathmandu... after a day to relax and take in Nepal's capital, take a full-day tour of the city and the surrounding valley. Monkey temples, sacred shrines, and historical statues will give you an insight into the local culture. A visit to the buddhist community around Boudhanath Stupa will round off this day of exploration.
- Chitwan... a 5-6 hour scenic drive to Nepal will bring you to Chitwan. Home to one-horned rhinos, Royal Bengal tigers, sloth bears and more, the national park offers a great chance to witness the country's natural beauty. You will stay in a wildlife lodge, visit an indigenous Tharu village, and take a safari tour.
- Pokhara... take an escorted tour around the city. Shop in the bustling Old Bazaar, visit the Gurkha Museum and enjoy a trip to the Devi's fall waterfall.
- Delhi... discover both the old and new cities on a guided tour. You'll see one of Asia's largest mosques, humming markets, the Presidential Palace and Raj Ghat - a memorial for Mahatma Gandhi.
- Jaipur... visit the impressive Amber Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll also stop at Jantar Mantar, a stone astronomical observatory, before having time to explore the pink city.
- Agra... take a tour of the unforgettable Taj Mahal and Agra Fort on this visit to the one-time capital of the Mughal Empire. You will then fly home.
