Hotel details
Begin at the SAHARA Las Vegas. This is one of the oldest properties on the Strip. It first opened in 1952, and welcomed guests throughout Vegas's golden age, including prestigious names such as Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and Marilyn Monroe. The resort has been fully renovated. 

SAHARA Las Vegas is at the quieter end of the Strip, but it's just 15 minutes' walk from the nearest Monorail stop. From there, it's under a 10-minute Monorail journey to the heart of the Strip. 

Try your luck in the casino, or head to the resort's numerous entertainment venues, including Magic Mike Live (supplements apply). Dine at seven restaurants and cafes, with Caribbean, Italian, Chinese, and Mexican options. There's also a Starbucks. 

Next, fly to Los Angeles for a stay at The Hoxton. The Daily Telegraph praises the resort's "European cool...vintage vibes", and its status as "one of Downtown’s hottest hangouts". It's located in the Fashion District, amidst the area's historic theatres and cinemas. The resort is 30 minutes' drive from Hollywood and Santa Monica Pier. 

There's a rooftop pool (open year round) that overlooks Broadway. Head to the lobby for a seat at Moonlark's Diner, a lunch spot serving classic comfort food. 

Your final stop will be in San Francisco, where you'll stay at Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf. It's under 10 minutes' walk from Pier 39. Spot sea lions basking on the docks here, as well as admiring views across to Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. There's also plenty of shops, restaurants, and street performers to keep you busy here. 

There's a heated outdoor pool (open all year) at the resort. Breakfast is included in your stay. Opt for a buffet breakfast, or choose a grab and go option.
