Itinerary
- San Jose... you will be met at the airport in San Jose by a driver, who will take you to the hotel. The rest of your time here will be free to explore the city. There are a number of museums, as well as the 19th-century Teatro Nacional.
- Tortuguero... experience Costa Rica's natural beauty with two nights in Tortuguero National Park. Visit the nearby village of Tortuguero, learn about the efforts to protect endangered sea turtles, and enjoy a tour and canal ride through the rainforest.
- Arenal... take in the view of the imposing Arenal volcano on your first night, then go on a guided tour up the slopes of the mountain. With a mineral-rich habitat, there will be plenty of different species of wildlife to spot on your journey. Finish off with a trip to Lake Arenal, Costa Rica's largest lake, where a boat will take you towards your next stop.
- Monteverde... traverse the treetops of the Monteverde Cloud Forest with a hanging bridges experience. Made up of three kilometres of jungle path and suspended bridges, it is a unique way to take in your lush surroundings.
- Carrillo... end your journey with three nights of relaxation. Known for its sandy beaches and excellent fishing, you will have plenty of time to explore Carrillo at leisure.
You will then spend one final night in San Jose before your return flight.
