About the beach hotel
Swiss Inn Resort Hurghada is a 5-star hotel with direct access to a private sandy beach. Stay in a room with views over the Red Sea. Wi-Fi is free throughout.
Daily buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included. So are snacks and ice cream during the day, plus late-night meals between 10pm–5am. Drinks from four bars are also covered.
One of the outdoor pools has waterslides for both adults and kids, and one is heated in winter. You can work out in the gym, or join fitness and dance classes. The spa has a sauna, a Jacuzzi, and a hammam.
About the cruise
The pace of the voyage is very relaxed. You'll journey alongside swaying date palms, and ancient temple complexes. Since you sail so close to the riverbank, you'll see the flicker of daily life as you relax on the pool deck, and hear the call to prayer ring out at sunset.
Embark your ship in Luxor—transfers to and from your beach hotel are included. Your cruise calls at Edfu, Aswan, and Esna. These ports are gateways to monuments of Ancient Egypt. They provide access to The Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple, Abu Simbel, and more. Guided shore excursions are chargeable.
While docked in Aswan, enjoy an included felucca excursion around the Nile islands. The open deck of this traditional sailboat is lined with soft cushions and mattresses. Just sit back, relax, and spot water buffalo and darting kingfishers near small fishing villages on this gentle adventure.
