Hotel details
Begin in Stone Town, Zanzibar's capital. Stay overnight at the Shaba Boutique Hotel, in the heart of the city. It's less than five minutes' walk from the beach. Wander along cobblestone alleyways, explore bustling markets, and people-watch from cosy cafes. 

Continue to the Saadani Safari Lodge, located just outside the bounds of Saadani National Park. This is the only national park in East Africa to boast both marine and land-based habitats. 

Return to Zanzibar and transfer to the AHG Hisia Nungwi Experience Hotel for a relaxing 7-night stay. The resort is in the village of Nungwi on the island's northern coast. It's five minutes' walk from Nungwi Beach. There are two swimming pools at the resort. 

The all-inclusive board includes a Silver Experience Package. Drinks from your room's fully stocked mini bar are included, as well as an special dinner during your stay. This will be a traditional evening with Swahili-style dishes so you can experience local culture and cuisine. Relax with a 30-minute massage, then pick from two half-day excursions. 

Dine at the hotel's restaurant, which serves Mediterranean dishes cooked with Zanzibari flavours and ingredients. Menus feature locally sourced ingredients that showcase the island's culinary heritage. 

You could go snorkelling or visit Nakupenda Beach, an uninhabited sandbank famous for its powdery sands and turquoise waters. Tour a spice plantation, explore Jozani Forest, or take a trip to Stone Town to see the capital's sights.

Join afternoon and sunrise game drives at Saadani Safari Lodge to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. Join a water safari on the Wami River to spy hippos and crocodiles. There's the option to join a bicycle safari along the beach. Watch the sunset as you enjoy sundowner drinks with your group. 

Stay in a Beachfront Banda Suite, which opens directly onto the sands and has views of the Indian Ocean. You can request a wakeup call, or have hot chocolate brought to your suite. Should you prefer to stay at the lodge rather than taking part in the safari experiences, you can relax by the infinity pool and soak up ocean views.

Transfers & baggage
