Itinerary

• Luang Prabang... visit the morning market, the National Museum, and the ancient temples of Wat Waham and Wat Mai. In the afternoon, you'll explore an ethinic village, a living crafts centre, and the Khouangsi waterfalls. On your second day, head down the Mekong River to discover the mystical Pak Ou Caves and several local villages.
• Vang Vieng... explore the Tham Jang caves, then watch the sun set over the Nam Song river. The next morning, it's onto the spectacular limestone caverns of Tham Phoukam, adorned with golden Buddha statues.
• Vientiane... see the sacred Wat Sisaket temple, the Patuxay Monument, and the beautiful Buddha Park.
• Bangkok... a guided city tour takes you to the awe-inspiring Grand Palace and Wat Pho, home to the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. This is one of the largest and most impressive Buddha statues in Thailand. You'll also go on an excursion to the city of Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the former royal capital. 
• Chiang Mai... venture into the forested highlands of Doi Inthanon National Park, home to Thailand's highest peak. On your second day, you'll go on a scenic drive up to the magnificent Doi Suthep temple before visiting the Meo Hill tribal village. You'll also visit the Golden Triangle, the point where Thailand, Loas, and Myanmar meet, and Chiang Rai before a scenic cruise along the Mekong.
• Khao Sok National Park... stay in a riverside cottage surrounded by lush jungle scenery. Glide peacefully down the river by canoe, or embrace your inner explorer in a rubber tube. Your second night will be spent getting back to nature on Cheow Lan Lake, as you stay in a rustic floating raft house. The next day, you'll go on a morning mist safari, and cruise along the still waters in search of wildlife, like monkeys and gibbons feeding in the treetops. On your final day, you can go on a half-day guided hike through the jungle, or indulge in a soothing Thai massage.
• Krabi... spend your final few nights relaxing on the golden beaches of Krabi. Go snorkelling in turquoise waters, or simply chill out by the hotel pool, cocktail in hand.
