Itinerary

• Hanoi... embark on two days of tours here. Visit the leafy French Quarter and pop in to the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum before wandering through the Old Quarter. The next day, Marvel at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature, before heading to the West Lake. 
• Halong Bay... spend a day and night exploring the breathtaking bay from a traditional Vietnamese boat. You'll get all meals included during your cruise. Plus, take the chance to explore some of the bay's secluded caves and grottos.
• Hue... after a night at leisure, a city tour of Hue will deliver you directly to the Imperial Citadel. This walled city was once home to the royalty of the Nguyen Dynasty. Then take to the water on a cruise along the Perfume River, from which you'll see idyllic landscapes on your way to the Thien Mu Pagoda. Trips to the royal tombs follow, before returning to the hotel.
  
• Hoi An... en route, make a stop at the marble mountains and enjoy the view of the Non Nuoc Beach. Upon arrival, head out on a guided walking tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through the city's unique blend of French, Chinese, and Japanese architecture before boarding a boat and riding along the Thu Bon River.
• Ho Chi Minh City... your guided tour here will take you to the Central Post Office, Dong Khoi Street and the Ben Thanh Market. The next day, experience the Cu Chi Tunnels. Built to assist fighters during Vietnam's battle for independence from French colonisation, these underground tunnels were expanded and used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War.
• Can Tho... cruise along the Mekong River, looking out for rice paddies, fishermen, and wildlife on the banks of the river. After a night in Can Tho, journey to the floating markets before heading to a nearby Cham community, where you'll learn about their culture and the houseboats that they call home.
• Phnom Penh... learn about the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge at the Killing Fields, and see the mass burial areas. Explore the city's temples and museums, such as the Silver Pagoda and the National Museum. Or, shop for bargains at the city's Art Deco central market. End your stay here with a sunset cruise on the Mekong River.
• Siem Reap... spend your first morning at Angkor Wat, before taking in some of the area's famous temples. Watch an Apsara dance performance with dinner. The next day will see you visit the Citadel of Women, a 10th-century temple, prior to returning to the city to learn about Cambodian craftspeople.
• Luang Prabang... end your journey in Laos, with scenic drives through the countryside. Visit to museums, temples and Wat Xieng Thong monastery. A final cruise along the Mekong River will deliver you to the Pak Ou Caves, a site of pilgrimage containing thousands of historical images of Buddha, before enjoying the last night of your trip at leisure.
