Itinerary
Start the adventure in Quito. You'll go on a guided tour of the city—the oldest in South America. Marvel at architectural masterpieces such as the ornate Golden Church, then visit a family-run candy shop. Later, continue north to stand on the Equator Line.

On day three, you'll travel through the Ecuadorian Highlands to the Amazon rainforest. Ride by motorised canoe along the banks of the Arajuno river to reach your lodge, surrounded by beautiful dense jungle. In the evening, head out on a night walk to discover the rainforest's thriving wildlife.

The following day, you'll visit one of the largest wildlife rescue centres in Ecuador, nestled deep in the rainforest. As you walk through the calming sanctuary, you'll get the chance to observe monkeys, parrots, and ocelots. The afternoon brings a change of pace as you get back on the Arajuno River and go tubing through the Amazon.

On day five, it's time to journey back to Quito, where you'll go on an artisanal chocolate tasting experience. Sample some of the delicious world-famous cacao found in Ecuadorian chocolate. The next day, you'll board a flight to the Galápagos. These islands were crucial to the development of Darwin's theory of evolution.

Delve deeper into the biodiverse island of San Cristóbal. Stop at the renowned Galapaguera, a protected giant tortoise sanctuary where you'll get the opportunity to observe these majestic creatures. Next, head to the pristine white sands of Puerto Chino, a true hidden gem, framed by volcanic rocks and turquoise waters. In the afternoon, continue to La Lobería, a paradise beach known as the permanent home of large colonies of Galápagos sea lions. Finish the day with a guided hike to a spectacular coastal trail. You may spot some of the archipelago’s most iconic bird species, including the elegant red-billed tropicbird and blue-footed boobies.

After a day at leisure in San Cristóbal, it's time to board a flight to Quito for a final afternoon to explore. On your last day, take the cable car into the slopes of the Pichincha Volcano for truly breathtaking views.
