Itinerary highlights
- Dublin... day one starts here, with an orientation drive of the city. You'll see the statue-lined O'Connell Street, pretty Georgian squares, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and Trinity College.
- Kildare and Limerick... take a trip to Ireland's horse racing county. In Kildare, you'll visit the Irish National Stud, considered the beating heart of Ireland's thoroughbread industry. Then, head on to Limerick, for a sightseeing drive. Pass St. Mary's Cathedral, King John's Castle, and the stone where the Treaty of Limerick was signed.
- Ennis... travel along Ireland's scenic Atlantic coastline, stopping off at the spectacular 668 foot Cliffs of Moher. Here, you can take in panoramic views of the Clare Coast. Then, carry on through to Galway, a popular seaside spot famous for its colourful shops and buzzy music scene. End the day at Rathbaun Farm, with an opportunity to make your own homemade scones.
- Kerry & Clare... cross the Shannon estuary by ferry, before travelling around some of Ireland's stunning southwestern peninsula. Explore the Ring of Kerry, a 100-mile scenic coastal drive packed with pretty whitewashed villages, glittering seascapes, and Medieval ruins.
- Killarney... pass through the Kerry Mountains to County Cork, where you'll visit Blarney. Take a walk up to the castle and learn the history of their famous magical kissing stone. Then, head to Waterford, a stronghold founded by Danish Vikings, where you can tour the House of Waterford Crystal.
- Waterford... you'll travel to one of Ireland's most quaint towns, Kilkenny, known as the Marble City. Visit its 800-year-old castle and discover its quaint shops and charming pubs on its Medieval Mile. Afterwards you'll head back to Dublin, for another night in the Irish capital.
