About the event
The historical site of Cardiff Castle has been home to Depot in the Castle for the last seven years. This year's line-up will see indie rockers, The Wombats headline with their sing-along anthems including "Let's Dance to Joy Division", "Greek Tragedy", and "Moving to New York". Fresh from their biggest UK arena tour to date, pop trio Sugababes are set to join with their back catalogue of huge hits, such as "Overload", "Round Round", "Freak Like Me", and "Push The Button". The summer bill features Red Rum Club and their mariachi-infused indie rock. Cardiff's emerging star Ben Ellis will also appear, as well as Afro Cluster, known for his high-energy funk. Plus, The Family Battenberg, who have gained quite the reputation for their energetic live shows.
There will also be plenty of local street food traders and family-friendly activities to explore in-between all the music.
