About the show
John Godber’s "Teechers" has been reimagined for post-COVID times. It follows students Salty, Gail, and Hobby as they present their final Performing Arts exam piece before heading to college. The trio's show is an account of their time at Whitewall Academy, in which they play staff, students, and site premises managers. Also included, is their drama teacher Miss Nixon, who has left a lasting impact on them.
"Beneath the humour and nostalgia lay a more serious exploration of inequality within the education system" (Telegraph and Argus)
