What's Included

  • A Cook and Chill package for one, which includes:
    • A half-day cookery course for one at the Swinton Cookery School. Including tea or coffee on arrival, and lunch with a beer or a glass of wine
    • A 45-minute spa treatment. Choose from: a bespoke back massage, a facial, an Indian head massage, a lux manicure or pedicure, a gel manicure or pedicure, or a warm and cosy ritual
    • Three hours' use of the Swinton Country Club facilities
  • A voucher for two is £289. Alternatively, two people can share the one-person voucher. One guest will take the cookery course, whilst the other receives the spa access and treatment at the same time

Whilst communication with the reservation team was mixed ( we wanted to learn the game menu as we had attended an earlier game cookery course and wanted to ensure it was different) the actual event was excellent and the chef tutor was professional and personable with good addional advice.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience. The cookery school morning was great, really personable tutor with easy to follow instructions. The spa here is lovely with a great treatment too.

The reception and cookery class was excellent. The spa was a little disappointing because some spa facilities were out of order( not heated as they should be.It would have been more relaxing to have a cosy place to relax as the only area was poolside which was not peaceful. The 45inute treatment was amazing. Lovely staff and god hot stone massage and mini facial by Sarah . Left the day feeling very chilled and pampered following a very good cookery class in the morning with excellent tuition from Ian in the cookery school.

The actual experience was very good from beginning to end.

I was very disgruntled with the booking at the beginning as I booked on one of the dates on offer by travelzoo and then was told by the estate there was a party in that day and my booking had to be changed. As this was a gift for my sister who had to come from Bristol it was very annoying for her to have to change all her family and travel arrangements. Plus I also had to change all my arrangements . We also could not have our choice of cookery class. Swinton were apologetic but were adamant we had to change our date and offered no compensation. Happily the day was wonderful and partially made up for all that inconvenience
