About the show
Goldilocks and her mother Dame Betty Barnum find their circus under threat from a rival circus owner, and battle to rescue their big top from his evil clutches. All seems lost until the arrival of three bears.
The pantomime is packed with special effects, stunts, and international circus acts. It features Jason Donovan as The Evil Ringmaster — Jason is best known for his roles in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" on the West End and on the Australian soap "Neighbours".
Local pantomime favourite Matt Slack stars as The Ringmaster and Samantha Dorrance ("Dreamboats and Petticoats") appears as Goldilocks. One of the most renowned panto dames in Birmingham, Andrew Ryan, returns to the Hippodrome stage as Dame Betty Barnum.
