About the show
Tom Ripley is struggling in New York—he is a nobody, forging signatures and lying to get himself through. That is, until a wealthy stranger sends him off to Italy to retrieve his son, Dickie Greenleaf. Tom finds himself immersed in Dickie's luxurious life and becomes fascinated, and then obsessed. Tom begins to blur the line between admiration and imitation, which takes a dark turn down the path of lying, identity theft, and murder.
