About the show
Richard O'Brien's classic musical, "The Rocky Horror Show", is the story of Janet and her fiancée Brad, two innocent college students on their way to visit an old college professor, when their car breaks down in front of a creepy mansion. With nowhere to go, the couple head inside to seek shelter, where they meet the enigmatic Dr Frank'n'Furter and his creation, Rocky. Their evening soon turns into a whirlwind of fun, frolics, frocks, and frivolity. The show features favourite songs from the original, including "Sweet Transvestite", "Dammit, Janet", and the timeless, pelvic-thrusting "Time Warp".
The show sees Australian superstar Jason Donovan return to the role of Frank after more than 25 years. He'll perform alongside West-end stars Lauren Chia ("Aladdin", "Frozen") and Connor Carson ("The Phantom of the Opera") as Janet and Brad, Job Greuter as Riff Raff ("Little Women"), and Morgan Jackson ("Mamma Mia!", "Fame") as Rocky. Actor and BAFTA Award-winning comedian Mawaan Rizwan joins as The Narrator—his writing credits include Netflix's "Sex Education" and he's also appeared on "Taskmaster" and "Live at the Apollo".
Donovan "injects the role with a spirited performance and a masterful control of his voice"—Time Out
"The songs are still rock 'n' roll brilliance, the story is just as surreal as ever, [and] the costumes are wonderfully outrageous"—Kent Online
