Itinerary
Embark your luxurious ship in the Hungarian capital, Budapest. Your cruise will call at:

• Bratislava… learn about the city's royal history on a a walking tour. There's also the opportunity to join a culinary tour of the Bratislava to sample Slovakian cuisine. Or, hike up to Bratislava Castle and take in magnificent city views.
• Melk... cruise along the scenic Wachau Valley and admire the vineyard-clad hills and picturesque towns along the mighty river. Tour the impressive Melk Abbey with an expert guide. This vast Baroque beauty is famed for its opulent interiors, and a large library with rare manuscripts and vibrant frescoes.
• Linz… wander around the beautifully-preserved Old Town on a guided walking tour. This Austrian gem is also the jumping off point for excursions to Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart. Alternatively, visit the fairy-tale like Medieval town of Český Krumlov in Czechia.
• Vienna… take advantage of two nights at port, which gives you ample time to discover the former imperial seat of the Habsburg dynasty. Your shore excursions include a horse-drawn carriage ride along the Opera House, St. Stephen's Cathedral, and aristocratic palaces. Visit the impressive Schönbrunn Palace, or go on a hike through Vienna Woods, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve just outside the city.
• Budapest… explore the Hungarian capital's two sides with morning and afternoon tours. See the Fisherman's Bastion and the colourful mosaic roof of Matthias Church in the Castle District of Buda. Next, cross the Danube and tour the Hungarian Parliament Building and Heroes' Square in Pest.

AmaMagna is the luxury cruise line's flagship vessel. Carrying 196 guests at maximum capacity, with a width twice of traditional European river cruise ships, it is "incredibly spacious", says The Times.

Take in views from the top deck that has a pickleball course, a life-size chessboard, and—for warm-weather months (May–September)—a pool, and a Jacuzzi. You can work out in the gym that has spin bikes, and offers yoga, and Pilates classes. Massage and beauty treatments are available for a fee at the plush spa. There's a fleet of bicycles, and you can expect cooking demonstrations, musical performances, evening entertainment, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Meals are all included, from breakfast and lunch buffets to lavish 4-course dinners. Guests can dine at any of the four onboard restaurants. All but the Main Restaurant require reservations. Much of the food is inspired by the ports of call—look forward to the rich chocolate Sacher cake in Vienna—and regional wine and beer is served with dinner. There's a daily Sip & Sail cocktail hour held before dinner, where passengers can discuss the day's excursions together.

The ship has "some of the most spacious cabins on Europe's rivers", according to Cruise Critic. You'll stay on the uppermost stateroom deck, and can take advantage of your private furnished balcony.
