Itinerary
Join Spirit of the Rhine in Rotterdam and spend the evening settling into your cabin and exploring the ship. You'll then call at...
- Rotterdam... take a coach tour to explore the traditional Delfshaven district and Rotterdam's unique the Cube Houses. You'll then stop at the Markthal food market and apartment block.
- Zaandam... is the gateway to Amsterdam. Join a glass-topped boat ride along the city's famous canals. See the Royal Palace on Dam Square and the floating flower market.
- Arnhem... this city is famous for its connection to World War II, as depicted in the film A Bridge Too Far. Travel into the centre of Arnhem during a walking tour, finishing at the Market Square.
- Cologne... see city highlights on a walking tour. Admire the twin-spired Cologne Cathedral and the characteristic buildings of the Medieval old town.
- Boppard... boasting over 2000 years of history, Boppard sits in the valley of the mythical Lorelei rock. This afternoon, enjoy an included wine-tasting session onboard the ship.
- Rüdesheim... dock overnight in the heart of Germany's wine-growing region. Wind your way through the narrow street of Drosselgasse, which is lined with traditional taverns. While there, you'll visit Siegfried's Museum of Mechanical Music, set in a 15th-century knight's residence.
- Mainz... explore the town's Medieval market squares and admire its Romanesque cathedral during a walking tour.
It's then time to disembark the ship and continue home.
