Itinerary
- Vienna (overnight in port)... Austria's capital city boasts some of the Danube's most beautiful views thanks to the Habsburg Empire's imperial palaces. The city's musical heritage continues today with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the State Opera House.
- Vac... this quiet town is located on the Danube Bend between Budapest and Esztergom. Admire beautiful river views here, and take in the town's Baroque architecture.
- Budapest (overnight in port)... discover the city's two sides (supplements apply). See the fairy-tale Fisherman's Bastion and the colourful roof of Matthias Church in Buda. Next, cross the Danube and tour the Hungarian Parliament Building and Heroes' Square in Pest.
- Bratislava... the Slovakian capital is easy to explore on foot. Wander at leisure, explore the old town's Baroque sights, and stop off at a cosy cafe.
- Dürnstein... sits at the heart of the UNESCO-listed Wachau Valley. The town's hilltop castle is famous for being Richard the Lionheart's prison in the late 12th century.
- Melk... this Austrian town is dominated by Melk Abbey, which overlooks the old town from its perch atop a hill. Benedictine monks have been living and working at the Abbey since 1089.
- Linz... people-watch from the Hauptplatz market square (the largest in Austria), where you can also admire the white-marble Trinity Column.
- Vienna... disembark the ship and continue home.
Ship details
Viva Enjoy is a small Viva Cruises ship that carries 190 passengers. The ship features a half-deck design, which allows plenty of natural light into the surrounding decks.
"Dining is a major strength", says Cruise Critic. The main Riverside restaurant offers a traditional sit-down dining experience. The Bistro is a more relaxed option with pub fare for lunch and dinner. The Moments restaurant specialises in Italian cuisine and has self-serve antipasti and dessert stations. All-inclusive drinks are covered throughout the itinerary.
There's a sun deck with a swimming pool and a hot tub. Head to the gym, take yoga classes, or book massages (supplements apply). You can rent bicycles to explore each port with ease.
