Itinerary
- Mainz... you'll embark here—this stop is known for its medieval market squares, half-timbered houses. Join a walking tour of the Old Town, home to Mainz Cathedral.
- Koblenz... sail through the Rhine Gorge on your way to this stop. The town sits at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers.
- Bonn... visit the birthplace of composer Beethoven. A tour of the Romanesque Minster Cathedral is included during your time here.
- Cologne... choose between a city walking tour or a tour of UNESCO-listed Cologne Cathedral. There are also baroque palaces, Medieval churches and a 16th-century City Hall to admire.
- Dusseldorf... disembark here to make your journey home.
Ship details
Spirit of the Rhine is a 5-star river ship, with sleek decor and pastel tones throughout.
The main restaurant offers four or five courses during evening meals. Complimentary wine, beer, and soft drinks are available with lunch and dinner. Sip on all-inclusive drinks from 9am to midnight. High tea is served once per week, and a selection of sandwiches and cakes daily. Passengers can also help themselves to tea, coffee, and biscuits throughout the day.
There's a sun deck with a splash pool and sun loungers, and an area for games. You'll also be able to order drinks to your deck chair. Relax in the library lounge, or head to the gym for a workout.
