• Lisbon, Portugal... your first stop will be Portugal's colourful capital. Ride the iconic yellow tram, and tuck into delicious pasteis de nata (Portuguese custard tarts).
• Agadir, Morocco... nestled at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, but also occupying a coastal position, Agadir offers the best of both worlds. Soak up some sun on the beach, or shop for spices in the souks. 
• Arrecife, Lanzarote... golden beaches meet volcanic landscapes in the island's vibrant capital. Enjoy fresh seafood by the marina, or head inland for breathtaking natural landscapes.
• Cape Verde... you'll dock in Porto Grande, on the island of Sao Vincente. If you missed the Belem Tower in Lisbon, you can see a replica here—or visit Catfish Bay, with its volcanically-formed lagoon.

• Sao Tome & Principe... this tropical paradise offers a mix of lush rainforests, pristine beaches, and a plethora of wildlife. 
• Walvis Bay, Namibia... this coastal town is a paradise for birdwatchers, with over 150 species in the lagoon. If you fancy something more adventurous, you can go sandboarding on Dune 7, the highest sand dune in the country.
• Cape Town, South Africa... ride the cable car up to Table Mountain, or explore the vibrant neighbourhood of Bo-Kaap.
• Mossel Bay, South Africa... this small harbour town is located along the iconic Garden Route. Hike to Cape St Blaize lighthouse or laze on the white sands of Santos Beach.

• Mahe, Seychelles... take a walk through the botanical gardens, or shop for fresh fruit at the Selwyn-Clarke market. 
• Dubai, United Arab Emirates... finish the trip in the sleek city of Dubai. You'll have one night here before flying home to the UK.

Explorations by Norwegian is a 369-night, round-the-world voyage onboard luxury ship Regatta. They've curated a series of port-focused itineraries, offering a variety of lengths and destinations. You can embark for seven nights, or for weeks at a time—like with this sailing.

Cruise Critic calls Regatta the "Goldilocks ship" as it's not too big, nor too small. Accommodating just 694 passengers, it never feels too crowded. During the day, you can relax by the swimming pool, or in the plush spa.
