Itinerary highlights

  • Singapore... kick off the trip with two nights in this cosmopolitan city. You'll stay in a 5-star hotel that's right on the river—the Gardens by the Bay can be reached in about fifteen minutes by taxi. You'll then transfer to the port to embark Regatta
  • Indonesia... your first stop will be Semarang, home to the world's largest Buddhist monument. You'll also make port in Surabaya, and the UNESCO-listed Komodo Island. Here, you can see Komodo Dragons with an expert guide. Stay overnight in Bali, giving you plenty of time to explore. Visit a Hindu temple, sip cocktails at a beach club, or indulge in some spa time.
  • Australia... highlights include Darwin, Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Kangaroo Island, and Hobart. You can also meet the smallest penguin species in Burnie.
  • New Zealand... your first port of call here will be Milford Sound. Rudyard Kipling referred to this as the eighth wonder of the world. Highlights in New Zealand include Dunedin, Wellington, Napier, Auckland, and the Bay of Islands. This enclave is impossibly pretty, with shimmering beaches and frolicking dolphins.

You'll then disembark in Sydney for your flight home.

Ship details
Explorations by Norwegian is a 369-night, round-the-world voyage onboard luxury ship Regatta. They've curated a series of port-focused itineraries, offering a variety of lengths and destinations. You can embark for seven nights, or for over a month—like with this sailing.

Cruise Critic calls Regatta the "Goldilocks ship" as it's not too big, nor too small. Accommodating just 694 passengers, it never feels too crowded. During the day, you can relax by the swimming pool, or in the plush spa. In the evenings, you can catch a Broadway-style show, or sing along in the piano bar.

There are five dining options on board, all of which are included. Speciality options include an Italian restaurant, and a steak and seafood venue. There's also a poolside grill, a cafe, and the main dining room. This offers plenty of variety each day, including a "taste of the world" special at lunch times.

Other options

  • Stay in an Ocean View Cabin from an extra £499 per person
  • Stay in a Balcony Cabin from an extra £2899 per person
  • Stay in a Suite from an extra £5999 per person
