Itinerary highlights
You'll sail round trip from Piraeus (the closest cruise port to Athens), and call at:

  • Kusadasi... the port is in the heart of the city, so you can step off and start exploring. Wander across the causeway to the pretty Pigeon Island, or book an optional excursion to Ephesus, which is around eight miles away.
  • Rhodes... the port is five minutes from the beautiful Old Town. Wander the labyrinth of cobbled streets, or book an optional excursion to Lindos, famous for its clifftop Acropolis.
  • Agios Nikolaos... this Cretan port is surrounded by beaches and bays. In July, the water is normally around 25°C, so swimming is like stepping into a warm bath.
  • Santorini... head over to the cable station, where you can get a cable car to the top of Fira town. Wander the whitewashed alleys and look out into the deep blue waters of the caldera.
  • Mykonos... hop around the chic boutiques, galleries, and bars in Mykonos Town. Alefkandra, also known as Little Venice, is the best place to snap photos.
  • Milos... this island is where the Venus de Milo was unearthed. It has the most beaches of any Cycladic island. Kick back in a taverna and watch the yachts bob in the harbour.

Ship details
Celestyal Journey is Celestyal Cruise Line's flagship, joining the fleet in 2023. It carries 1260 passengers at full capacity.

The ship underwent a multi-million-pound refurbishment in 2025. However, it still has a lot of classic features, including a full wraparound teak deck. Meals are included at two restaurants: the main dining room, Thalassa, and the buffet, Taverna. There are delicious Greek dishes on every menu. You can also grab poolside snacks and gyros at the Greek Deli Corner. Soft drinks and hot drinks are available during main restaurant opening times.

By day, there are activities like quizzes, craft classes, and dance lessons. There are twice-nightly shows at the Amphitheatro Show Lounge. There's always live music in the evenings, and a nightly disco with tunes that span the decades.

Exterior XD Cabins are the highest grade of Exterior Cabin. They're on Decks 5 or 9 and have a window with unobstructed sea views.
