Itinerary
Begin the holiday with a 5-star stay in Sydney. The hotel is excellently located, overlooking Sydney Harbour and the Royal Botanic Gardens. Take in sweeping panoramic views from the swanky rooftop bar. After three nights, transfer to the port and embark Seven Seas Navigator.
- Brisbane... is one of the continent's most liveable cities. Museums, galleries, and restaurants are lapped by warm waves, and you can sometimes spot whales and dolphins from the beaches.
- Airlie Beach... is the gateway to some of the best beaches in Australia. Whitehaven Beach has over four miles of sugary white sand. The Whitsunday Islands are perfect for optional island-hopping excursions.
- Townsville... cruise the Coral Sea to northern Queensland. You can visit the Reef HQ Great Barrier Reef Aquarium during your time ashore. Or, travel to Billabong Sanctuary to see cassowaries, kookaburras, dingoes, and other Australian wildlife.
- Thursday Island... is part of the Torres Strait Islands, an archipelago of at least 274 islands right at the tip of Queensland. Learn all about its fascinating history at the Torres Strait Historical Museum.
- Cooktown... home to the first European settlement, and named after Captain Cook. Take in 360-degree views from atop Grassy Hill, or explore Black Mountain National Park.
- Cairns... is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics Rainforest.
Ship details
Seven Seas Navigator is a luxury, 490-passenger vessel, and the smallest in the Regent fleet. An all-suite ship, it aims for quiet luxury, pampering guests without being over the top.
There are four dining options onboard, including the main dining room, as well as an Italian venue and a steakhouse. You can also have breakfast and lunch at the buffet restaurant. Drinks are included throughout with your all-inclusive package—there are three lounges, a pool bar, and a coffee bar to choose from. A traditional afternoon tea is served daily.
During the day, you can find activities from mini golf and shuffleboard to bingo to seminars on deck. If you fancy some pampering, you can book a treatment at the plush spa. The main theatre has shows on in the evening, and the ship's band will play in the lounge before and after dinner. There is also a casino and swimming pool to enjoy. Be sure to make the most of the included excursions in each port, too.
Deluxe Window Suites come with a picture window, a sitting area, a marble- and stone-detailed bathroom, a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, and a customisable, in-suite mini bar replenished daily.
