Itinerary
First, travel almost 1000 kilometres across Canada on a 6-night escorted tour. You'll get hotel stays in Calgary, Banff National Park, and Vancouver.

A daytrip to Lake Louise is included—this is the national park you see on all the postcards, with emerald-green waters backed by snow-capped mountains.

The highlight is a 2-day Rocky Mountaineer journey from Banff to Vancouver. You'll travel on the iconic First Passage to the West route, with a hotel night in Kamloops to break up the journey, so you're always in daylight.

The route winds through some of the most spectacular scenery on the planet, much of it reachable only by rail. SilverLeaf carriages have domed glass windows, reclining seats, and an outdoor viewing area. Meals are served at your seat, and drinks are included.

Spend the night by the waterfront in Vancouver, then embark on a 5-night all-inclusive Alaska cruise on Celebrity SolsticeHighlights include:

  • Inside Passage... one of few areas where large ships can get up close to the mountains. The entire area is called the Inside Passage, and you'll wind through distinct waterways, coves, and fjords.
  • Ketchikan... this is Alaska's First City. You can learn about local Tlingit culture, see totem poles, and wander the quaint boardwalks. The halibut fish and chips comes especially highly recommended.
  • Victoria... this is Canada's most historic city. Often, ships are welcomed by Tartan-clad bagpipers. The cobbled streets and Victorian streetlamps might remind you of Edinburgh.

Finally, sail back to Vancouver to catch your flight back to the UK.

Ship details
Celebrity Solstice relaunched in March, 2026, after getting some renovations to public areas. Sunset Park adds a large outdoor area on the top deck, with yoga, music, and private cabanas—available for a supplement, but ideal for spotting wildlife.

New restaurants include a theatrical Italian venue, where many dishes are prepared tableside, and the Fine Cut Steakhouse, which is already on Celebrity Edge. Meals are included at all the main restaurants, but you'll need to pay extra for speciality venues.

Drinks are included throughout the ship on your all-inclusive package. Enjoy beer, wine by the glass, cocktails, spirits, liquors, premium coffees, and more.
