Itinerary highlights
First, you'll spend two nights in a 4-star hotel in downtown Manhattan. Then, you'll take to the seas for 19 nights, calling at:

  • Newport, USA... Rhode Island's seafront capital is famous for its Gilded Age mansions. Wander through cobbled squares and visit local haunts like the Midtown Oyster Bar.
  • Sydney, Canada... this is the gateway to Cape Breton island. It is famous for its fiddles and Celtic roots, and is the only Gaelic-speaking community outside Europe.
  • St Pierre & Miquelon, Canada... this port feels like a little piece of France. Visit the pastel-pink patisseries and try excellent French wine that's worth taking home if you can.
  • St John's, Canada... admire the vibrant Victorian houses at Jelly Bean Row, and visit the easternmost point of the North America at Cape Spear.
  • Nuuk, Greenland... we recommend visiting Nuuk National Museum. Here, you can see ancient Qilakitsoq mummies, frozen in any icy cave for over 500 years.
  • Paamiut, Greenland... this pretty fishing village is your introduction to Greenland. Learn about local traditions and watch out for sea eagles and humpback whales.
  • Narsaq, Greenland... is sheltered between two fjords. An active glacier, Bredefjord, often sends icebergs past the village towards the sea.
  • Prince Christian Sound, Greenland... take in the views from the deck of the ship. You'll cruise up close to the dramatic, craggy cliffs of the fjord.
  • Seydisfjordur, Iceland... "if you only visit one town in the Eastfjords, this should be it," says Lonely Planet. Sail in past cascading waterfalls and admire the colourful wooden houses.
  • Akureyri, Iceland... this is Iceland's second city and northern capital. It is famously artsy, with lots of cool cafes and art galleries.
  • Ísafjördur, Iceland... is a bustling fishing town in northwest Iceland. It is the gateway to the Westfjords, the dramatic setting of many Old Norse sagas
  • Grundarfjordur, Iceland... is home to Kirkjufell, one of Iceland's most famous and photographed mountains. It's steeple-shaped peak has given rise to its nickname Church Mountain.
  • Reykjavik, Iceland... spend a night in port in the Icelandic capital before flying home.

Ship details
Regatta accommodates just 694 passengers, so it never feels too crowded. During the day, you can relax by the swimming pool, or in the plush spa. In the evenings, you can catch a Broadway-style show, or sing along in the piano bar.

There are five dining options on board, all of which are included. Speciality options include an Italian restaurant, and a steak and seafood venue. There's also a poolside grill, a cafe, and the main dining room. This offers plenty of variety each day, including a 'taste of the world' special at lunch times.
