Itinerary highlights
Stay overnight at a 4-star hotel in Venice Mestre, then transfer to Fusina cruise port to board Silver Muse. You'll call at:
- Koper, Slovenia... you'll disembark within walking distance of the old town square. Enjoy the Venetian-era highlights, including the Praetorian Palace, from where the Venetian Republic once ruled.
- Zadar, Croatia... this city is famous for its musical sea organ which, depending on the weather, you can hear when you get off the ship. Wander marble streets filled with pretty shops and restaurants.
- Hvar Town, Croatia... you'll be tendered ashore into the centre of town. The island is famous for the sweet scent of lavender, sage, and rosemary. The capital is best discovered on foot.
- Dubrovnik, Croatia... the old part of the city is completely pedestrianised. Walk the walls around the old town and fill your camera roll with gorgeous photos. You can also take a cable car up Mount Srd.
- Giardini Naxos, Sicily (for Taormina)... Giardini Naxos is a thriving seaside resort with a long sand-and-pebble beach. Relax by the beach or make the 20-minute journey to Taormina, the Monte Carlo of Sicily.
Finish up in Valletta, where you'll transfer to St Julian's for four nights at the 5-star Radisson Blu Resort. "Malta's cool crowd flocks here to eat, drink, shop and party," says Lonely Planet. Breakfast and dinner are included at the hotel every day.
