Itinerary

• Athens... begin with an overnight stay at a 5-star property with views of the Acropolis. 
• Patmos... this tranquil island is blissfully uncrowded. Enjoy its quiet bays, hilltop monastery, and quaint whitewashed towns.
• At sea... spend a day enjoying all the facilities on the ultra-luxurious, ultra all-inclusive ship. 
• Istanbul (overnight)... this city spans two continents. Spend the day exploring both sides of the Bosphorus. You'll stay overnight, so no need to hurry back to the ship.
• Kusadasi (with a complimentary shuttle to Ephesus)... explore one of the world's best-preserved Greco-Roman cities. The ancient world comes alive in the library, theatre, and marble streets.
• Mykonos... see the iconic windmills and enjoy the glitzy bars and restaurants on Mykonos island. Lonely Planet describes the capital as a "gorgeous whitewashed Cycladic maze" with "cubic charms".
• Athens... disembark before 9:30am and get whisked to the airport in a private car. 

Ship details
Explora II launched in 2024 as the second ship from Explora Journeys. It carries 992 guests. Cruise Critic gives the ship top marks, and says its "boutique-hotel approach to cruising is a game changer".

There are nine dining options that you can dine at with no extra charge, including in-suite dining. You can also order meals direct to your suite. There's a raw bar every night, complete with Champagne. Drinks are unlimited and cover fine wines and top-shelf spirits.

Amenities include five heated swimming pools, five outdoor hot tubs, and a gorgeous Sky Bar on the top deck. Ocean Terrace Suites have around 300 square metres of space, including huge private balconies.
