Itinerary highlights
- London Tower Bridge (overnight onboard)... spend a night docked under Tower Bridge so you can see it illuminated. Toast your fellow passengers on the top deck and watch the world go by. The next morning, sail out to sea down the Thames.
- Bergen, Norway... pass beautiful inlets and islands on the way to Bergen. You'll dock a short walk from the UNESCO-listed waterfront. Lonely Planet praises its chocolate-box clapboard houses and flitting ferries—this is "one of the most appealing cities in all of Scandinavia".
- Vik, Norway (with Sognefjord navigation)... this is the country's longest and deepest fjord, earning its King of Fjords nickname. Squeeze between 2000-metre-high mountains on the way to Vik. This cosy hamlet is very remote, and so peaceful you can hear the tinkling of sheep bells.
- Olden, Norway... this town is on Norways' Nordfjord. Cruise ships dock right in the centre. You can hike into the hills on round-trip trails from the town, or take a trip to Loen Skylift, which can take you to the top of Mount Hoven in five minutes.
- Alesund, Norway... this stunning fjord-side town is famous for its concentration of Art Nouveau buildings. The streets are full of distinctive turrets and spires. Geirangerfjord is a popular daytrip—its waterfalls are legendary.
- Reine, Lofoten Islands (overnight)... this tiny fishing village is in the far west of the Lofoten Islands and is home to 300 people. Few cruise ships come here. The tiny islets are linked by bridges, and the red fisherman's cottages are postcard-perfect.
- Rosendal, Norway... this small town is at the entrance of Hardangerfjord. The main spot is Barionet Rosendal, a castle surrounded by a traditional rose garden. In summer, you'll see traditional horses and carriages.
- London Tower Bridge (overnight)... sail back south and head down the Thames to Tower Bridge. You'll have a final night onboard before disembarking the following morning.

The 1-to-1 staff-to-guest ratio means you'll receive excellent service. The crew will know your name and preferences right away. Meals are all included, and chefs often showcase regional specialties. Drinks are included, too. There are several bars—among the best is a domed piano bar, where evening variety shows are hosted.
Features include a pool with a whirlpool hot tub, a running track around the top deck, a gym, and a sauna (supplements apply). The sauna has panoramic sea views.
