On week one of this cruise, you'll sail east to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. On week two, you'll head west to Jamaica and Mexico. We tried putting the flights, hotel, and cruise together separately. We save at least £700 on the lowest possible price.

This deal is £1380 per person. You'll pay a US$51.98 per room, per night resort fee in Fort Lauderdale. That works out at at approximately £19.52 per person extra, bringing the total to £1399.52 per person.

Itinerary
First, spend a night at a beach hotel, then board Holland America Line's Eurodam for two weeks. The cruise is made up of two round-trips from Fort Lauderdale. Highlights include:

• Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos... this port has direct access to the beach. The cruise terminal also has a huge shopping centre with a 10,000-square-foot duty-free area.
• San Juan, Puerto Rico... this is the country's largest city. The colourful lanes of Old San Juan make for great photos. Popular daytrips include tours of the Bacardi Rum Factory.
• St Thomas, US Virgin Islands... take the Skyride to Paradise Point for amazing views of St Thomas Harbour. Charlotte Amalie is a shopper's paradise. Souvenirs are duty-free, and there's no sales tax. 
• RelaxAway Half Moon Cay (two days)... this is Carnival Cruise Line's private island. It has a beautiful half-moon beach and oceanfront dining—buffet-style meals are included. You'll spend a second day here the second week.
• Ocho Rios, Jamaica... the port is right outside the main town. Explore the town, or head further afield to huge beaches, caves, and waterfalls. The 600-foot Dunn's River waterfall is a favourite.
• George Town, Cayman Islands... Grand Cayman's Seven Mile Beach is one of the most beautiful in the world. Head to Stingray City to handfeed wild stingrays, tamed over time by local fishermen.
• Cozumel, Mexico... this coastline is famous for its vibrant underwater life. There are plenty of snorkelling spots where you'll see colourful coral, shoals of tropical fish, and starfish.

Ship details
Eurodam carries 2104 passengers and offers Holland America Line's "hallmark excellent service" (Cruise Critic). Passengers return time and time again for "service, space, and substance". Food is a real strength, with seven no-fee options, including room service. There are three for-fee speciality restaurants. The theatre is a two-tier affair with comedians, concerts, magicians, and lecturers. The Rolling Stone Lounge has live bands at night.
