Itinerary
Start your holiday with three nights in Las Palmas, a vibrant city with a sunny languor. Enjoy al fresco meals and drinks at chatty bars, or take a quick taxi or bus ride to sunbathe on the golden sands of Las Canteras beach. Your hotel sits right next to San Telmo Park, and approximately 10 minutes' walk from the pretty old town.

Emark Costa Smeralda on day four.  Your week-long cruise calls at:

  • Funchal, Madeira… wander the pretty town centre or hop on the cable car to visit the botanical garden. Late this evening, join a guided stargazing event (weather permitting) with the captain as the ship sails through one of the darkest spots in the Canary Sea.
  • Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife… Lonely Planet describes the island as a place of "extraordinary beauty and diversity". The capital is a handsome city to keep you busy for the day. With an extended stay in port on the ship, you'll have ample time to explore further afield.
  • Arrecife, Lanzarote… has a hotchpotch of charming downtown backstreets leading to an inviting promenade and a sandy beach. As you depart this evening, join an immersive 'The Lost Kingdom' event on deck. See visual set pieces and listen to deep-water soundscapes while sailing above three submerged volcanoes tied to the legend of Atlantis.
  • Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura… this bustling port is the gateway to optional excursions across the island. Visit aloe vera plantations, traditional windmills, and whitewashed villages dotting the arresting desert landscape.

Your cruise returns to Gran Canaria, where you'll disembark for your flight back home.
