Itinerary
The cruise departs from Piraeus port in Athens (flights not included), calling at:

• Thessaloniki… Greece's second city is famous for its delicious food and laid-back atmosphere. An overnight at port provides ample time to explore. Optional excursions (chargeable) include Mount Olympos or the Meteora Monasteries.
• Kavala… you'll dock just five minutes' walk from town, which rises from the harbour to a huge Byzantine fortress.
• Kuşadası… this Turkish port is about a 30-minute drive from Ephesus. According to Lonely Planet, it is "Europe's most complete classical metropolis".
• Rhodes… the largest of the Dodecanese archipelago is one of the sunniest spots in Europe. Potter around the walled Old Town, a treasure trove of Byzantine and Ottoman relics.
• Heraklion… the old town of the Cretan capital is still circled by a Venetian wall. Be sure to visit the Minoan ruins of the Palace of Knossos—it's just a 20-minute taxi ride from the port.

The cruise concludes with an overnight at port in Athens, so you can explore the Greek capital at your leisure.
