Itinerary
- Kristiansund... this stop is a city spread over four picturesque islands, and sits close to the feat of engineering that is the Atlantic Ocean Road. It is known a great spot for sea fishing.
- Narvik... this scenic town is surrounded by fjords, and is a hub for outdoor activities, such as skiing, hiking, and wildlife watching.
- Tromsø... a cool 250 miles north of the Arctic Circle, the largest city in Northern Norway is famous for its cathedral. Wander around the plentiful galleries and museums, or take the cable car up Storsteinen mountain to see the iceberg-shaped cathedral.
- Ålesund... stroll through the centre of this charming city and admire its colourful Art Nouveau buildings. You could explore the quaint villages on nearby islands of Giske and Godøy.
During this sailing. You'll also enjoy scenic cruising by some fantastic sights. Cruise by Toghatten—this iconic mountain was shaped by the Scandinavian Ice Age. You'll also sail by Nærøysund and the impressive Seven Sisters Mountain Range.
Ship details
Balmoral is the smallest ship in Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines' fleet. There is a warm and friendly feel onboard. The vessel offers "classic small ship cruising with a fresh new look" (Cruise Critic).
