Itinerary
- Getxo... make your own way to Bilbao—the train takes around 20 minutes from port—to see Warhol and de Kooning artworks in the Guggenheim Museum. You could also try pintxos, the bite-size snacks that are a staple of Basque culture.
- Santander... enjoy a seaside walk to the local lighthouse, or chill on a golden-sand beach. Culture buffs have a Medieval church, former royal palace, maritime museum, and contemporary art gallery to explore.
