Itinerary
After a night on board the ship, you'll dock in the town of Cobh, which is about a 25-minute train journey from Cork. When you get off the ship, the station is right in front of you. Hop straight on a train when you arrive, or explore Cobh a little more. This small port town is home to the Titanic Memorial Garden, the colourful 'Deck of Cards' houses, and St Colman’s Cathedral. Or, you could head off on an excursion to Blarney Castle, or Killarney National Park. You'll dock overnight here, giving you plenty of time to explore. After two nights at sea, you'll arrive back in Southampton.
Ship details
"The fun, frenetic and fabulous" MSC Virtuosa "delivers across the board", confirms Cruise Critic. It's a true destination in itself with its state-of-the-art facilities, including five pools, an aqua park, two Formula 1 simulators, and a Broadway-style theatre. You could also spend your time hopping between the karaoke bar, comedy club, and casino, or playing sports like tennis, football, and basketball.
All your meals are included, and there are a total of 10 restaurants (speciality venues incur a supplement). There are also 21 bars, including outdoor venues with panoramic views (drinks are chargeable). The MSC Starship Club has a futuristic bar with 3D holograms and a one-of-a-kind robot bartender that can make custom drinks and signature cocktails.
