- Ålesund... this stunning fjord-side town is famous for its concentration of Art Nouveau buildings. The streets are full of distinctive turrets and spires. Geirangerfjord is a popular daytrip—its waterfalls are legendary.
- Trondheim... Norway’s original capital has wide streets lined with colourful buildings. The city was once the centre of Viking power, and today is home to Norway’s biggest university.
- Tromsø... a cool 250 miles north of the Arctic Circle, the largest city in Northern Norway is famous for its cathedral. Wander around the plentiful galleries and museums, or take the cable car up Storsteinen mountain to see the iceberg-shaped cathedral.
- Alta... this stop is known as the capital of the Northern Lights, and one of the best places in the world to see this magical phenomenon.
- Molde... wander along the waterfront into this small city's centre. You could take a boat over to Hjertøya, a green island just off the harbour.
Ship details
Majestic Princess is a large ship, carrying 3560 passengers at full capacity. The vessel launched in 2017 and has a wide range of entertainment and dining venues to choose from. By day, you could go shopping, join a dance class, or lounge by the pool. By night, visit the palladium-style theatre, head to the casino, or soak up live music onboard.
There are three main dining rooms onboard, with buffet and waiter-service options available. Have lunch by the pool, visit the bakery, or try the ice cream bar. For an additional fee, you could sample Italian or Japanese cuisines, or try the steakhouse or seafood restaurant.
