Itinerary
Begin with an overnight stay in New Orleans. You'll then join Norwegian Breakaway and will call at:

• Cozumel, Mexico... famous for its "quiet cool", "genuine authenticity" and "spirited Caribbean energy" (Lonely Planet).
• Roatán Island, Honduras... has the world's second-largest coral reefs, making great diving and snorkelling.
• Harvest Caye, Belize... this mile-wide private island is exclusive to cruisers, and has beautiful beaches.
• Costa Maya, Mexico... look out for pink flamingos, go snorkelling, or sip margaritas in a cantina.

Finally, you'll arrive back in New Orleans in time for Mardi Gras. You can attend the amazing street parades and savour classic Cajun food. Dive into the festivities and embrace the vibrant energy of Carnival season.

Cruise Critic says Norwegian Breakaway feels like a "Las Vegas resort [blended] with a water park" and praises its "truly exceptional dining". It is the only ship in the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet to boast a quarter-mile oceanfront promenade, which is lined with restaurants and bars.Options include Ocean Blue for seafood and La Cuchina Italian restaurant (supplements apply).
