Cruise gratuities of US$17 (£12.48) per guest, per day are payable aboard the ship. However, gratuities are optional and can be removed or adjusted at the Guest Services desk.

Itinerary

• Toronto... begin with three nights in Ontario's capital. You'll be less than five minutes' walk from St. Lawrence Market. Browse hundreds of stalls, sample local delicacies, and shop for souvenirs. An excursion to Niagara Falls includes a once-in-a-lifetime lunch on a boat overlooking the Falls. 
• Vancouver... hop aboard a connecting flight and arrive in British Columbia for a 3-night stay. Explore the city's nightlife and restaurants—visit Gastown's cobbled streets, or the adjacent Chinatown. Take an included whale and wildlife watching tour. 
• Juneau... after a scenic cruise through the Inside Passage and the Tracy Arm Inlet, you will arrive in the capital. Be greeted by dramatic mountains and lush rainforests. Learn about Alaskan culture through local art galleries, or hit the scenic hiking trails.
• Skagway... has a rich gold rush history and small town charm. Take the White Pass and Yukon Route railroad through picturesque mountain landscapes (supplements apply). This route was used by gold miners and is a popular excursion for cruisers.
• Ketchikan... wander the historic boardwalk of Creek Street. Once the red-light district, it is now a popular spot for dining and shopping. Make sure to see the totem poles whilst you're here.

Ship details
Koningsdam was the first ship of Holland America’s Pinnacle Class. Cruise Critic describes it as "luxurious, with thick carpets, leather chairs and... expensive artwork". The Pinnacle Class ships are known for speciality dining and signature entertainment venues. Holland America Line are known as experts in Alaskan cruising—they have been sailing the destination longer than any other cruise line. You'll find wildlife experts onboard the ship. They offer lectures and help guests to identify whales, bears, and birds during the journey. 

Lido Market offers a wide selection of cuisine in a casual setting. All your meals here are included. Dine at speciality restaurants, including Italian and a steakhouse, for an additional charge. 

After dinner, catch some Memphis R&B at B.B. King's Blues Club. Watch a show at the World Stage, or listen to classic hits at Billboard Onboard.
