Itinerary
- Le Havre, France... stick around the coast to explore the Musée des Beaux Arts and the D-Day beaches. Mont Saint-Michel and the Medieval town of Rouen are an hour's taxi ride away.
- La Coruña, Spain... this port lies along Galician shores, with lively streets lined with seafood restaurants and tapas bars. Visit the Tower of Hercules, or take in sweeping coastal views from the sculpture park.
- Porto, Portugal... wander cobbled streets lined with colourful buildings, and hip new bars on the banks of the Douro River. Soak up the city's fascinating museums, beautiful architecture, and delicious local port wine.
- Ponta Delgada, Portugal... the capital of the archipelago is the largest island in the Azores. Here, you'll discover an "enviable landscape of forest-wrapped volcanic peaks" and "improbably perfect calderas" (Lonely Planet).
- Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas... relax on a white-sand beach on Norwegian Cruise Line's idyllic private island. You could try your hand at kayaking or simply watch the world go by from a beachfront cabana (supplements apply).
Disembark the ship in Miami and continue to your hotel for a 2-night stay. Doubletree Resort & Spa By Hilton Hotel Ocean Point is right on Miami Beach and has a palm-lined swimming pool.
Continue to Memphis, where you'll stay at Hu Hotel. Learn about the city's musical heritage with a tour of Elvis's Graceland. Explore the legendary Beale Street, too. You'll have two nights to find the next big thing in the atmospheric bars and clubs.
Finish in New Orleans, where you'll stay at Wyndham New Orleans - French Quarter for two nights. The hotel is just off the famous Bourbon Street, in the heart of the French Quarter. You'll have easy access to its rollicking jazz clubs and mouth-watering restaurants, where you can sample some of the best po' boys, cocktails, oysters, muffulettas, gumbo, and jambalaya.
