Itinerary
Begin with two nights in Montreal. See world-class art in the Musée des Beaux-Arts, tuck into some poutine, and wander through the beautiful streets of Old Montréal, with its 18th-century architecture. You'll then take the train to Quebec City, North America's oldest French-speaking city. Its clifftop position provides dramatic views over the river, and its Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site full of history. 

Time to board Sapphire Princess for your 10-night cruise...

• Saguenay, Quebec... journey through a majestic fjord as you travel past picturesque villages and rugged scenery. Consider heading into Saguenay Fjord National Park for a day of hiking and spotting local wildlife. There's even a whale watching site here. 
• Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island... is home to the Culinary Institute of Canada, and as such, has a thriving food and craft beer scene. Visit Point Prim lighthouse, or the city's impressive mock-Gothic cathedral.
• Sydney, Cape Breton... is the largest city on Cape Breton Island, which is linked to the rest of Nova Scotia by causeway. Visit the Alexander Graham Bell Museum, go on a walking tour through Old Sydney, or duck into a local restaurant for live music in the form of fiddles and sea shanties
• Halifax, Nova Scotia... explore the bustling waterfront and nautical museums, or travel to the small fishing village of Peggy's Cove, with its picturesque lighthouse
• Saint John's, Newfoundland... the oldest city in North America is famous for the colourful Jelly Bean Row. These iconic painted houses have led to St John's being called the most colourful city in the world.
• Boston, Massachusetts... disembark the ship for your return flight home.
