Itinerary
This 14-night cruise departs from and returns to Barbados, calling at:

  • Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe... effortlessly combines French flair with Caribbean vibes. Take a trip to Grande-Terre for its golden sands and lively atmosphere.
  • Fort-de-France, Martinique… this neat and colourful town is home to a memorial of Josephine, Napoleon's first wife, who was born on the island, and a replica of the Parisian Sacre Coeur.
  • Road Town, Tortola... this is the largest of the British Virgin Islands. Snack on street foods sold on Main Street and savour smooth Caribbean rum.
  • Philipsburg, St Maarten... sits on the Dutch side of the island (the other part is owned by France). Enjoy world-class shopping, admire historic buildings, and bask in the sun.
  • St John's, Antigua... the island is known for its candy-coloured villages and white-sand beaches. You can learn about British naval history at Nelson's Dockyard.
  • Castries, St Lucia… drop anchor at this island cloaked in verdant greenery. It "wears its breathtaking beauty with nonchalance", says Lonely Planet.
  • Willemstad, Curaçao… see colourful Dutch merchant houses along the lively waterfront. Visit a distillery to sample the famous Blue Curaçao liqueur.
  • Kralendijk, Bonaire… wander around the 17th-century Fort Oranje or spot pink flamingos at saltwater lagoons. The surrounding waters are also home to pristine reefs great for snorkelling.

Ship details
Renaissance is a mid-size ship that sails with 1,200 guests at maximum capacity. It underwent a full refurbishment in early 2025 when it joined Ambassador Cruise Line's fleet.

Meals are served in the main restaurant, which is split across two decks. Speciality dining options available for an additional fee. Sit back and relax in one of the bars and lounges, or head to the main theatre for West End-style shows and entertainment. You can also visit the card room to test your poker skills, unwind with a book in the library, or call in at the craft studio to learn new hobbies.

You can work out at the gym, or relax at the spa that has a sauna and a steam room. The Lido Deck is home to the pool and two Jacuzzis—a great spot for days at sea.

Other options
Sail in an Ocean View cabin from £1599 per person.
