Why go in 2017
easyJet flights will fly to Ljubljana from London Gatwick as of December 2016 due to increased demand. That makes it easier to reach than ever before, and we’ve seen some great deals over the past month or two. Follow the little sign saying "Tearoom" if you spot it by Villa Bled on your walk around Lake Bled. The setting, the view (and the coffee) is outstanding.
When to go
Most travellers opt to visit Slovenia between May and September so they can enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling and white-water rafting, but if you go a little before or a little after peak summer period, you’ll get a better deal on your hotel. For ski holidays, visit between December and March.
