Dust off your "he's behind you"s and "oh yes he is"es because panto is BACK. And we're here to guide you through the boos, hisses, and hilarity of pantomimes across the UK. Since it wouldn't be the festive season without gifts, we're giving away five pairs of tickets to each pantomime, all around the country. York Grand Opera House: "Dick Turpin Rides Again"
11 December, 2021-9 January, 2022

"Dick Turpin Rides Again" at the York Grand Opera House features Berwick Kaler in a production packed full of comedy, song and dance, and a Wagon Wheel or two. A star of pantomime in York for 40 years, Berwick Kaler's performance as the dame has delighted generations of festive pantomime fans every year. Click here to book tickets.

Milton Keynes Theatre: "Jack and the Beanstalk"
11 December, 2021-8 January, 2022

Doomed to sell his trusty cow, Jack climbs a huge beanstalk and fights the evil giant to win riches beyond his wildest dreams. Expect big laughs, special effects, magic beans, and bundles of audience participation. Manchester Opera House: "Aladdin"
11 December, 2021-2 January, 2022

Follow Aladdin on an adventure featuring flying carpets, a wish-granting genie, and an evil sorcerer. "Aladdin" stars West End legend and "The X Factor" winner Alexandra Burke in her pantomime debut, alongside comedian and impressionist Ben Nickless, when the production comes to Manchester Opera House. New Wimbledon Theatre: "Dick Whittington"
4 December, 2021-2 January, 2022

Shane Richie ("EastEnders") reprises his role as Dick Whittington in this year's pantomime at New Wimbledon Theatre. Guided by the magical Fairy Bow Bells, he seeks fame, fortune, and happiness in London Town. Bristol Hippodrome: "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"
4 December, 2021-2 January, 2022

"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" at Bristol Hippodrome will be brought to life, panto-style, with comedy, special effects, and plenty of festive magic. The production is full of famous faces including Lesley Joseph ("Birds of a Feather", "Night and Day") as The Wicked Queen, Rob Rinder ("Judge Rinder") in his panto debut as The Man in the Mirror, and Bristol panto favourite Andy Ford as Buttons. Folkestone Leas Cliff Hall: "Cinderella"
10-31 December, 2021

"Cinderella" is being performed at Folkestone Leas Cliff Hall this festive season. Find out if the princess will make it to the ball and back before midnight in this classic tale about a charming price, two ugly sisters, and fairy godmother magic. The cast includes Lee Brennan of boyband 911 and comedian Phil Reid, alongside Paul Winterford, Brian Croucher, and Georgina Combes. Click here to book tickets.

Glasgow King's Theatre: "Cinderella"
27 December, 2021-2 January, 2022

Starring Elaine C. Smith ("Two Doors Down") as the fairy godmother and comedy actor Johnny Mac as Buttons, "Cinderella" at Glasgow King's Theatre follows the classic heroine as she outwits her wicked step sisters and meets her dashing prince charming. New Victoria Theatre, Woking: "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"
4 December, 2021-2 January, 2022

With fashion advice from TV personality Gok Wan and comedy from Harriet Thorpe ("The Brittas Empire", "Absolutely Fabulous") and Aaron James, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" brings panto traditions galore to the New Victoria Theatre, Woking. Richmond Theatre: "Cinderella"
3 December, 2021-2 January, 2022

Richmond Theatre will host the most magical ball in the kingdom, starring "King of Ballroom" Anton Du Beke in his first pantomime ever as lovable sidekick Buttons. "Cinderella" follows the young orphan who is put to work by her evil stepmother and bullied by her two step-sisters, until a chance encounter with her fairy godmother changes everything. Sunderland Empire: "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves"
10 December, 2021-2 January, 2022

"Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" at Sunderland Empire takes you on an adventure into the enchanted forest with a beautiful princess, a jealous queen, seven bumbling dwarfs, a naughty nurse, a hilarious jester, a poisoned apple, and a magic mirror. Stoke-on-Trent Regent Theatre: "Cinderella"
