More Reasons to Go
- Sections of The Bath Hotel date back to the 1880s and it used to be, as the name implies, a bath house in the Victorian era.
- Each of the hotel's 20 rooms and suites is unique in style and name. Stay in The Lazarette, The Bosun's Locker, The Botanist, or The Curiosity Room with this offer.
- The hotel's bar, The Ancient Mariner, features an outside deck overlooking the harbour. Its one-of-a-kind art installations and curios are sure to catch your attention. There's a torpedo, a shoal of herring pavement painting, and a sculpture of an octopus.
- Opened in 1890, the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway is a short walk away (closed for winter; reopening 16 February). Take the water-powered funicular up 500 feet for stunning coastal views and to reach Lynton.
- Exmoor National Park has over 620 miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore. Minimal light pollution also makes the skies ideal for stargazing. It was designated Europe's first International Dark Sky Reserve in 2011.
- The 630-mile South West Coast Path has easy, moderate, and challenging walks. The 2.9-mile Lynton and the Valley of Rocks walk starts and ends near the hotel.
