Loved the price we paid Travelzoo on this one!! The casita we had was top notch; resort was clean, quiet. Private, helpful staff and beautiful grounds. Conveniently located minutes away from the little town of La Quinta; and many other sights like Palm Springs tram & the Living Desert zoo. Excellent service; follow up by representatives of the resort and ample pools and tho gs to do on the premises

We love the solitude of the La Quinta Resort's location. The number of pools is astounding. It makes it easy to find one that isn't in use so you have ample space. We always have dinner at Adobe the day of our arrival, and it never disappoints. We also love how many picture-taking opportunities there are at the resort. Such beautiful surroundings.

We had to ask to move rooms after being on site for 16 hours. We were in a poolside villa surrounded by families with children who were all there together. They had taken over the pool area, as if it was their own personal backyard, and let their children scream nonstop. There were also A LOT of unsupervised children during our visit, many of them riding scooters all around the entire resort with not an adult in sight. The staff was accommodating, and did upgrade us to a spa villa for free, which was nice (albeit, certain parts of the villa hadn't been upkept or renovated in quite some time like the curtains and the bathroom fixtures). We also found that we had been double charged for upgraded internet access, something we are going to have to contact the hotel to resolve. They could use a couple additional employees working at The Marketplace in the mornings. It's always crowded and the line is crazy long. I decided the next time we visit, we will go when school is in so there are fewer children on property, as that was the main issue, and obviously not the resort's fault.

Made our forty fifth anniversary, incredibly special. Our servers in morgan's restaurant or excellent. The resort should get ten stars for how special they made us feel.. We are looking forward to our next visit.

While the hotel is old and showing some aging signs, the property is beautiful, immaculate and kept very clean. The rooms are large and generous and well stocked and beds and pillows were very comfortable. Service was top notch and the many semi private swimming pools were lovely and hardly used.
