- Forest Lodge centres on an elegant Georgian property built in 1820 as the dower house of the Northerwood Estate. It was used as a hunting lodge by King George IV.
- Facilities at the hotel include an indoor swimming pool. There's also a bar, a lounge, a restaurant, and an outdoor terrace.
- The centre of Lyndhurst is less than 10 minutes' walk away. This pretty town is often known as the capital of the New Forest. It has a selection of cafés, tea rooms, pubs, and independent shops.
