Forest Lodge centres on an elegant Georgian property built in 1820 as the dower house of the Northerwood Estate. It was used as a hunting lodge by King George IV.
Facilities at the hotel include an indoor swimming pool. There's also a bar, a lounge, a restaurant, and an outdoor terrace.
The centre of Lyndhurst is less than 10 minutes' walk away. This pretty town is often known as the capital of the New Forest. It has a selection of cafés, tea rooms, pubs, and independent shops.
The Beaulieu estate, home to 13th-century Beaulieu Palace House, is around 20 minutes' drive. The on-site National Motor Museum houses more than 280 notable vehicles.
Exbury Gardens, located by the Beaulieu River, is around 25 minutes' drive. It's known for its displays of rhododendrons and azaleas, plus its riverside walks. It is also home to a narrow-gauge steam railway line. As part of this deal, you save 20% on the cost of entry.
