Why We Love This Deal
The Devonshire Arms Hotel is an "elegant" (The AA) hotel in the Yorkshire countryside. Owned by the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, it sits in 33,000 acres of the Bolton Abbey Estate. Unwind in the converted barn spa with a friend, then tuck into a sumptuous sharing platter for £75. This package has been exclusively negotiated for Travelzoo members.
What's Included
- A sharing platter lunch for two in The Garden Room Wine Bar
- Tea or coffee, dessert, and a homemade treat
- 3 hours' use of spa facilities; towel and robe hire (please bring flip-flops)
- 10% discount on pre-booked treatments
- A voucher for one is £40
- Valid Monday–Thursday until 31 March, 2026
- Use of the spa facilities is from 11am–2pm; lunch will be taken after spa access
- You can also visit for afternoon tea with spa access for £85 for two, or a rasul mud experience with lunch, bubbly & spa access for £129 for two.
More Reasons to Go
- The "secret spa" (The Daily Telegraph) is housed in a barn conversion adjacent to the hotel. Facilities include a vitality pool, a sauna, a steam room, and a relaxation lounge.
- Its location in the Yorkshire Dales makes for a fairy-tale setting. The former coaching inn's stoned-building is surrounded by a formal Italian garden.
- Expect "fine hospitality in a beautiful countryside setting" (The AA). Bolton Abbey is 15 minutes' walk away.
- Stuck for Christmas gift ideas? Give a dining, spa, activity, theatre, or hotel experience, and create a memory.

Very enjoyable - the spa was small but lovely and so quiet. Food was amazing - the scones were the best! Great value

The staff were great! The spa is tired and needs a little work. The jacuzzi was warm but not hot. The sharing platter was afternoon tea and was absolutely delightful.

Wonderful birthday treat for my best friend. The spa facilities were good and did the trick of relaxing us, the powerful water jets massaging aching tired muscles. We moved over the road into the main hotel for our sharing platter and dessert in delightful dining room with magnificent autumnal views. Excellent value for money. Special mention to Stephen in the Spa who was super friendly and attentive ! Highly recommend.

There was confusion in the restaurant over the menu for our Travelzoo deal. We had to explain it to the waitress and show her the description of the offer. It could do with some precision from the chef and service staff.

A lovely Afternoon Tea ,great service, in the sunny conservatory with polite & friedly staff
It was our first visit & we arrived early so walked around the extensive grounds & pretty gardens set in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside ,
We enjoyed it so much & have booked a table for our forthcoming wedding Anniversary later in the year.
