The hotel decor throughout is tired but some improvements to update are taking place. The room however, was warm, clean and with comfortable bed and pillows. TV was very small but adequate . Large bathroom with shower and very hot water - good. Hotel staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Food was excellent both for breakfast and dinner. Hotel a good base for exploring surrounding areas.

Obviously going out of season meant less footfall so less attractions/shops open in area. Nevertheless an enjoyable short stay

Room was on 1st floor & ok, we could only just see the sea & I had paid extra for a sea view so not impressed. We had very noisy people above us so after the first day we were offered a room on the top floor with fabulous sea & castle views, it was a family room for 5 but solved the noise problem. Pillows need to be replaced for something softer. The food was fantastic & the chef very attentive to his customers. I’d go back just for the food.
Other Comments
Staff were friendly & very helpful. The chef is talented and produced fantastic food which would have not been out of place in a 5 star restaurant
