Food was excellent. Good range of dishes on the tasting menu.

Compared to previous visits the service was poor. There were long gaps between courses. We mentioned this when paying the bill and were told that it was because they had guests in a private dining room upstairs. To us, the restaurant should have made us aware of the situation and maybe offered a complimentary drink - as they did to an adjacent table - rather than leave us wondering about the delay. They were almost saying that other customers were more important than us. It was certainly not as good an experience as previously and has left us wondering whether it is worth going back in the future.

Overall a good experience with good food and staff. The only downside was the wine pairing which at £30 per person for what was effectively 3 half glasses of wine, was expensive.

Very good tasting menu from sharing platter till finish. Very interesting flavours and choice of ingredients.

Two comments: 1. The Travelzoo menu presented by the restaurant listed the dishes but some had additional charges. These could have been shown below within the side dishes. 2. For the first time we were charged the discretionary fee. This was only made known as we were leaving. Subsequently we gave a demerit.

Restaurant decorating and atmosphere is very nice. Food are very good. We had to order couple of side dishes to go with the main course. Overall, very good experience.
