Inspired by the inns of Provence and Tuscany, the restaurant specialises in "refined Franco-Italian country cooking" (The AA). Lovely food and great value for money. The restaurant is beautiful and has a lovely atmosphere. We were meeting up with friends and weren’t rushed out . It was a lovely leisurely lunch, exactly what we wanted.

Very good value set menu, even better with travelzoo offer. In January they offered a bottle of bubbles per couple rather than a glass too. Food was all beautifully presented and delicious. You do need to order some additional sides. We also had bread and coffee and petit fours. They did an additional birthday sweet treat which was a nice touch. Waiting staff all very good. Charming decoration. We visited at lunch time as a pair of female friends and didn’t feel it was overly romantic.(which was good). Several other tables of friends and 4 or so guests. Had to call to book but that all worked well. Food arrived a little quickly at first but we had a bit of a break before dessert and overall were in the restaurant for more than 2.5 hours feeling pretty full. We were able to take some of the petit fours away for later. I would definitely visit again.
