Member Reviews: Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort

"This was our honeymoon trip, and it did not disappoint. The staff and service were lovely, the location was unparalleled, and the overall trip was a dream."
The only resort on Kooddoo Island, the Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort is a seriously secluded getaway. With just 68 rooms on site that offer beach, overwater and sunset views, this posh resort has quickly climbed the list as one of the top places to stay in the Maldives. In addition to three restaurants and bars, spa and tennis options, there is a full-fledged dive center on site, with daily excursions to Gaafu Atoll — one of the largest and deepest atolls in the world. The resort is one of a handful of resorts in the Maldives accessible via domestic flight from the international airport in Malé.
The Maldives is fully open for US travelers, so when you are ready to go, paradise awaits. Simply present a negative PCR test taken within 96 hours before your flight to gain entry into the country. Since the Maldives follows a one island, one resort concept, social distancing for travelers comes naturally.
